What We Wore When We Played House

Well hello there fashion friends! Earl and I have been enjoying a bit of rare, Oregon sunshine this week. Ms. Mommy has been very busy chasing us down, now that we're both fully mobile (the orthotics in my shoes are making a world of difference in my walking abilities!). Just between you and me, that Earl can be a bit of a handful. A few days ago he trashed our room at naptime and got his hands on some diaper rash cream. Smeared it all over his face! Ms. Mommy had to call Poison Control. Don't be alarmed though, it all turned out just fine. I hope Earl learned his lesson.

These photos really don't do my fabulous Gymboree shirt and matching hat justice. Let me tell you though, they are adorable! For some reason Earl was having a sleeveless Under Armour day. Have a fabulous weekend!

Friday Fashion Faux Pas

Today was a hot day.  And believe me, we don't have many of those.  Which still isn't reason enough to justify Hank's fashion choice. 

Hank's fashion sense comes from two places: Mr. Daddy and Sesame Street.  The basketball shorts are an example of the former (I do believe in real shorts, I do, I do).  Whereas, the matching red on red stems from Sesame Street.  Hank has yet again failed to translate his knowledge of matching into the magic of color coordination.

I will give Hank some props though, because if he were to join a boy band, this outfit would be almost acceptable.

Friday Fashion Faux Pas

I'm usually the idea person in the house.  We wake up in the morning, it's my idea to turn on the "la-lak" (music, for those of you babies not in the know) and I sometimes have to remind Ms. Mommy when it's time to change me or put me down for a nap.  Sometimes, Ms. Mommy comes out with a great idea, like, oh, visiting the zoo! 

But you can't always trust her ideas, like, oh, these shorts on sweatpants.

Umm...did you see that? Shorts over sweatpants? Oh, Ms. Mommy.

There are few things I love more than a smart graphic tee.  As a future tree hugger and supporter of small businesses, I love this tee from GnomeEnterprises on Etsy.  The trick to making a basic tee classy is knowing what to pair it with.  Instead of just grabbing a pair of jeans, try classying it up with these awesome plaid shorts from The Tea Collection.  Top it off with red kicks and *bam*!

What We Wore to the Tulip Festival

I'm baaaaack! And this week has been incredible! Since I've learned how to climb out of my crib - it's like I never have to nap again.  I had no idea how many toys were in my room until I was able to explore them all uninhibited.  You guys...it's amazing!  But you make one little mistake going over the edge and - bang - black eye.  It's not that I'm vain and don't want to post that all over the internet, except that I am.  A little.  Blame it on being a baby.

 But time heals, and trendy outfits ask for forgiveness for sins of vanity.  So here's some amazing outfits that Petunia and I rocked at this year's Tulip Festival.
