Keeping It Simple - Cloth Diaper Edition
by Earl
A rising trend in the world of baby fashion right now is cloth diapers. Yes, you read that right: cloth diapers. Not only do I get fewer diaper rashes in cloth and save my parents money, but they come in an array of styles, colors, and even fun prints! In warmer weather, they're the easiest fashion choice there is. Slip into a comfy, cloth diaper, put on a pair of legwarmers and a shirt if it's a bit breezy out, and you're good to go! Perfect for a casual, low-maintenance dresser like myself.
Let's take a look at some of the cloth styles Petunia and I sported last year. First up, here we are on a warm Summer day, wearing Knickernappies One-Size cloth diapers and BabyLegs legwarmers. My diaper has a fun, appropriately boyish, ooga-booga print on the shell, and a cozy, green microfleece interior. I think the flower behind my ear adds a touch of class.
Next, Petunia and I collaborating for a strawberry themed afternoon in the yard. Those Bottombumpers diapers really are as comfortable as they look (and pair perfectly with Petunia's Gymboree hat)!

Finally, you can see just how versatile cloth diapers are. Perfect for a casual afternoon reading on the lawn, but still easily dressed up for a slightly more formal affair.
In this toddler's opinion, the cloth diaper is a must have basic for any baby's wardrobe!

gosh, Earl, you almost make me wish I could wear cloth diapers! Do you have bowties for all your diapers?
