A Stylish New Do

This weekend Earl experienced his first major haircut. He'd had a few trims before, but that was just a little off the sides. Earl has never been a fan of the scissors. He sees Ms. Mommy coming with them in her hand and just flips out. Perhaps because he's seen photos of Hank's old Mommy haircuts. Ms. Mommy loved the baby-fine softness of Earl's hair, so while she was happy to see the faux-bowl cut go, she was also a bit sad and anxious when Daddy took the clippers to Earl's head. 

Who even is that guy? I do think Earl has a new swagger in his step to go with his new 'do.  What do YOU think of his haircut? 

Barrettes

Today's topic is my favorite accessory! It's fun, it's trendy, it's a barrette! Every little girl needs an assortment of colorful barrettes to wear. Fortunately for me, my auntie Amelia is super crafty, and has ever so kindly created flowers, bees, birds, and even cupcakes for my hair!

They can even be worn upside-down, if so desired. Or if you're squirming while Ms. Mommy is trying to clip back your golden locks.

Auntie Amelia is the best!

Pigtails

This weekend my Auntie Amelia and I decided to take a chance and see if we could put my lovely, golden tresses into pigtails for the first time. It was a challenge, but we did our best, and I'm going to have to say... I think I look FABULOUS! Am I right?! Pigtails for the win!

As with any new hairstyle, it may take a little getting used to. Miss Monkey, however, said I look sweet. I think it goes without saying that I trust her opinion.
